The Need

Pearson Education approached NameStormers with an exciting challenge: naming a digital test prep platform for 3rd-10th graders that would make standardized test preparation engaging and fun. The platform featured game-like environments for reading and math practice, complete with customizable avatars and interactive superhero, ninja, and pirate characters. The name needed to appeal to children while alleviating test anxiety.

The Name

“ZEOS” emerged as the perfect solution, chosen for its energetic, superhero-like quality that appealed to the 8-16 age group. The name’s interstellar feel and memorable ‘Z’ beginning helped position the platform as an engaging activity, rather than homework, while its brevity made it accessible to young users.
