Pioneering Innovation Since 1986

In 1986, NameStormers made history by launching the first commercially available name generator for PCs. The Namer app included an AI-like module and 10 other unique naming methods,  revolutionizing how many companies approached naming.

In 1991, we unveiled NamePro, which became the gold standard for name generators. However, many of our clients realized they needed more than just names – they needed a comprehensive strategy to ensure those names aligned with their broader brand strategy and vision.

Evolving to Meet Our Client’s Needs

While our early software was a game-changer for most, many of our larger CPG an B2B clients asked us to come on board as consultants. They wanted our help making sure their new name checked all of the boxes including delivering: enduring engagement, cultural acceptability, market differentiation, legal availability, and brand extendibility.

These needs led us to evolve, expanding our services to include naming architecture, brand strategy, naming systems, verbal and visual identity and beyond – all while advancing our proprietary research and validation methodology.
