The Need

AHA needed a naming strategy for a new patient portal. They needed a few names for different parts of the portal, all of which needed to relate to empowering and helping patients to take responsibility for their heart health and ongoing care.

The Name

Simple is often better when it comes to a naming strategy & nomenclature.
“HeartHub, Take Control and Heart 360” were part of a suite of names that NameStormers and AHA developed together because they were:
  • Easy to understand and say
  • Short and memorable
  • Communicated that the patient had easy access to information about heart health and the ability to take action regarding their own health

The Result

The new suite of names effectively communicated the portal’s core message – empowering patients with access to actionable, heart-health-related information. The names were well-received for their clarity, simplicity, and memorability. They resonated with patients, encouraging them to feel confident in taking control of their heart health. By creating a cohesive and patient-centric nomenclature, NameStormers helped AHA develop an intuitive and inspiring platform that supports patients in their journey to better heart health.
